The measuring steering wheel is supplied via the vehicle electrical system and can be used on cars and trucks. The ease of use and the compact design reduce set-up and test duration. A magnetic incremen-tal encoder and strain gauges isolated from cross-coupling errors guarantee accurate and reproducible results. The transmission of the measuring signals is carried out inductively. Thus, a falsification of the measured values due to shock and vibration during measuring operation can be reliably avoided.
