The optimum in combination with temperature chambers
Horizontal vibration tests require special slip table systems. These sliding tables are coupled to the shaker and thus enable testing of large and heavy test objects in the installation position in the horizontal direction.
The hydrostatically guided V-bearings are a further development of RMS. They absorb disruptive leverage moments (yaw, roll and pitch moments) so that even heavy test objects can be reliably tested. At the same time, however, they have been specially designed for use in superposition with temperature tests. Even at extreme temperatures of -40 ° Celsius to 120 ° Celsius and beyond, they work absolutely reliably – and that for days. Optional chamber connections made of GRP and special thermal barriers made of silicone for all common temperature chambers make the RMS sliding tables versatile. At the same time, transverse movements inherent in the system at resonance points are minimized with a perfectly adjusted damping system.
We also use a modular design for our sliding tables, so that we can react flexibly to your requirements. Of course, all RMS sliding tables are optimally matched to the RMS vibration test system. But they can basically be combined with any vibration test system.
For use in explosive atmospheres, we have developed a special sliding table for ATEX systems that safely protects your employees, your products and your infrastructure even in a risky environment.
High-performance oil temperature control
The oil temperature control from the RMS enables smooth operation in combination with climatic chambers from -40 ° to + 120 ° C in continuous use: 24 hours, 7 days a week. Of course, significantly more are possible for special applications.
Only V-bearings specially developed by us are used in RMS sliding tables. These V-bearings are designed to function without jamming even in extreme temperature ranges and to absorb disruptive moments.
Weight-efficient magnesium alloy
Competitors swear by aluminum – we only swear by the best: high-strength and weight-optimized magnesium alloys for the best test performance. More power for the test object and at the same time better test results. Absolute lightweight construction for a lot of payload.
RMS sliding table systems use granite plates to dampen unwanted vibrations of the mounting plate. The design of the V-bearings also has a dampening effect on the system.
Emergency sliding bearing
RMS sliding tables all have emergency running properties: short-term jamming of the bearings can be coped with. That makes our sliding tables absolutely low-maintenance and robust. The positive consequences are less downtime and lower costs.

Thanks to the modular structure, we already have a wide range of standard systems. The product range extends from 600mm x 600mm to 2500mm x 2500mm.
