We analyse, advise, design, simulate, manufacture, validate and measure.

And we put great emphasis particularly on the direct contact to our customers, to you.

We founded our company in 1962, and since then, we have evolved into one of the leading German companies for dynamic test equipment, environment simulators and measurement systems. Today we – Peter Schäfer and Lars Brömer, engineers – are the second generation working together with over 80 employees at our headquarters in Hamburg Reinbek.

We support people like you and your machines: from the automotive and shipbuilding industries, aerospace and rail technologies – from Germany, Europe and around the world.

Our engineers are there to support you right from the very first contact – professional, service-oriented and reliable. Our engineers, computer scientists and electronics technicians make the custom systems you desire a reality and achieve this in our in-house production facility.

As a result, we work together with local, European and international sales and service partners and as such we ensure that every system is ready for operation.

Customer service is part of our daily business.

At RMS we work with over 500 standards to guarantee quality and set standards.

This is our standard.

The RMS testing machines are not only developed to comply with the respective standards and execute the corresponding tests – we design them together with standardisation committees. This means that we set national and international standards.

  • DIN EN 60068-2-6, 60068-2-27, 60068-2-64, etc.
  • DIN EN 62506

  • RTCA DO-160
  • KTA 2201 among others
  • SAE J 328
  • DNV/GL and Lloyd’s test specifications
  • Various manufacturer standards from the automotive industry, aviation, shipping and rail vehicle technology such as from Audi, BMW, Daimler, Porsche and VW, MAN, Knorr-Bremse as well as international manufacturers including Ford, Volvo, Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier as well as certification bodies like Lloyd’s Register (LRQA), DNV GL, Bureau Veritas and Korean Register.

We set national and international standards.

The electrodynamic vibration test systems comply with over 500 standards to give confidence and ensure quality.

On land, by sea and in the air.

Specialised RMS testing machines were developed and produced to fulfil technical specifications for this and other standards.
